A project funded by International Visegrad Fund, realized in collaboartion of 4 instiutions:
The aim of the project is to provide the artists with an opportunity to exchange knowledge and think together with scientists. The long-term goal of the project is that through these exchanges the artists incorporate the knowledge they gain into their work and hopefully through that help the appearance of a society that feels more responsible for the nature that surrounds them.
The project is composed of 3 elements:
- Opening Lab
- 4 Artistic Research Sessions
- Sobieszewo Conference
Opening Lab
This was our first experiment on getting artists and scientist closer to each other. The program was realised between 29-30th August 2021, in the framework of Bazaar Festival in Prague.
Artistic Research Sessions
Between August 2021 and May 2022 we have 4 artistic research sessions, one in each of the participating countries. For that we chose 1 artist from each country through an Open Call.
Jana Tereková (SK) – 14-28th August 2021. residency in Prague
Rózsavölgyi Zsuzsanna (HU) – 8-21st November 2021. residency in Bratislava
Bartosz Ostrowski (PL) – 24th January – 6th February 2022. residency in Budapest
Zden Brungot Sviteková (CZ) – 4-18th May 2022. residency in Gdansk
Sobieszewo Conference
As a closing of the project we will have a conference on Sobieszewo Island in Poland between 19-21st May 2022.
