HOUSE RULES

Using the studios implies acceptance of the house rules.

Compliance with these rules is mandatory for all users, as they ensure smooth collaboration, the preservation of the space, and mutual respect.

Studio Locations

  • Jurányi: 3 studios – the number in each name indicates its floor area.
     Keys can be collected at the reception desk in Staircase A (right side).
     The studios are located in Staircase B (left side), 4th floor.

  • Trafó: 1 studio, on the 2nd floor.

Booking and Scheduling

  1. Bookings can be made via email at workshop@wsf.hu
    (We only respond during office hours. Emails are processed in order of arrival, and due to volume, replies may take 2–3 working days.)

  2. Bookings marked “ÓRA” (CLASS) are regular dance classes.

  3. Bookings marked “ÓRA” or “KURZUS” (COURSE) require a 30-minute setup/cleanup period before and after.

  4. Bookings can only be made with a 30-minute break before or after these time slots.

  5. If you need to cancel a booking, please notify us immediately by email so the time can be made available to others.

Key Policy

Keys must always be picked up and returned at the reception desk, regardless of whether the next group has arrived.
Do not hand keys directly to each other – this allows us to track who has them and locate them if lost.
 If a key is lost, the last user will be responsible for covering the lock replacement cost.

Studio Use Rules

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Entering in outdoor shoes
  • Smoking
  • Eating or drinking (except water)
  • Lighting fires, using candles or open flames
  • Removing carpets or damaging equipment

At Jurányi, windows must remain closed during rehearsals, classes, or courses involving music or loud sound.
Ventilation is allowed only when no music is being played, out of respect for the neighbors.

Live music rehearsals are not permitted at Jurányi.

Set and Prop Use

  • Prior email approval is required if you plan to work with sets or props.

    • At Jurányi: use and storage of sets and props are possible only with prior agreement.
    • At Trafó: props only may be used; sets are not allowed and storage is prohibited.

    Nothing may be left in the studio after rehearsal.

Other Rules

  • Animals are not allowed:

    • Jurányi: some areas of the building are pet-friendly, but studios are not.
    • Trafó: no animals are allowed anywhere in the building.

  • Mirror covers may be used but must be replaced after rehearsal.

  • Any damage must be reported immediately; repair costs are borne by the person responsible.

  • The studio is not responsible for items left behind.

Dressing Rooms

Do not leave training clothes, props, or valuables behind.

For long-term use, a limited number of lockers are available — only by prior arrangement.

When locker use ends:

  • Items must be removed within one week.

The key must be returned.
 Items left beyond this period will be discarded.
 If a locker key is lost, the user must pay for lock replacement.

Upon Leaving:

  • Close all windows.
  • Turn off all technical equipment.
  • Switch off the lights.
  • Dispose of any trash.
  • Lock the studio and return the key to reception.

Kitchen (Jurányi)

The kitchen is shared — please leave it clean after use.
The refrigerator may be used, but it is emptied at the start of each week, so do not leave food or drinks for extended periods.
