Life Long Burning (LLB3) 2023–2026: Futures Lost & Found
The activities of the LLB3 project can be divided into three main strands:
- Supporting artistic work
- Supporting the professional development and capacity building of the field
- Promoting and advancing dance as an art form, expanding its impact across Europe, and developing audiences
Within these strands, the program offers seven main activities, all focusing on emerging and mid-career artists, providing them with opportunities to connect with the international professional scene.
CREATIVE CROSSROADS: Long-term, individual, and comprehensive support for artists.
ARTISTIC EXCHANGE: Residencies, individual study trips, and cultural exchange programs for dance artists, managers, and dance writers.
LLB COPRODUCTIONS: Coproduction support for the creation of new performances.
CAPACITY GRID: Scholarships supporting the development of contemporary dance techniques and professional training.
ON THE OUTSET: A training and mentoring program for the next generation of cultural managers.
CHOREOGRAPHIC CONVENTION: A series of professional platforms (conferences and seminars) addressing current topics in contemporary dance.
PERFORMANCE SITUATION ROOM: Open-format artistic gatherings focusing on the most pressing artistic, professional, and socio-political issues.
