This open contemporary dance class is designed as a complete training for intermediate–advanced dancers. It is built in 2 complementary parts: a first part of warm-up and technical exercises from contemporary dance, and a second part in which we learn a choreographic phrase, new at each class. The training develops body awareness and mobility, with particular focus on movement fluidity, physical endurance and memorisation.
The class is aimed at intermediate and advanced–professional dancers looking for a complete training that combines technique and choreographic practice.
This is an open class, come whenever you can!

Julien is a French choreographer, performer and teacher who has been living and working in Budapest since 2018. He trained at the National Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Lyon, France, alongside training with Raza Hammadi, director of Ballet Jazz Art, and artists from Nederlands Dans Theater. In 2018, he joined Budapest Dance Theatre before continuing to work independently in Hungary and internationally. Since then, he has developed his own choreographic works and artistic projects across stage productions, site-specific performances and moving image, while also working as a movement director for fashion and music productions. As a teacher, he teaches contemporary dance and movement through classes, workshops and training programmes.
